In Washington there are many beautiful lakes, Twin Lakes is one of them. A pleasant tour to Glacier Basin is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, and if you came for an overnight stay Sauk River Campground is a brilliant location to camp. During the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Twin Lakes with night lows in the 50's. is there a lot of exciting things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Columbia Peak is scenic and can be made out from Twin Lakes; paddling on Skykomish River - North Fork is so much fun. The skiing at Stephens Pass is splendid;
everybody nearby loves skiing at Alpental. Twin Lakes gets a lot of water; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Sunday Falls is a splendid local
attraction, and a nice place to stop by is Poodle Dog Pass. Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do in the vicinity of Twin Lakes.

I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines.
