     Washington has many beautiful lakes and Twin Lakes is one of them. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Twin Lakes. The panorama of Blue Mountain from Twin Lakes is beautiful, and not far from Twin Lakes you'll locate Chain Lakes which is a beautiful lake. A good deal of rainfall falls at Twin Lakes; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. These mountains  
   rock, just explore all the enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Stillaguamish River - South Fork has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby La Barge Lake.
At Twin Lakes during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are usually in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's
 
               for Twin Lakes. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Canyon Creek South Fork Stillaguamish Tributary; hey, Cub Creek is a pleasant local stream. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors GuestHouse Inn & Suites M is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Twin Lakes; Finney Peak Trail is a great local trail.
This lake is so wonderful. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Camping at Lake Connor Park is always a pleasant experience, and nice hiking is available along the Gee Point Trail. Camping is available at Turlo Campground, and Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe is a great location to get some rest.

WE USED TO FISH HUNT AND FOURWHEEL AT THE LAKE...We used to ride dirt bikes in the early 70's up to lake fontal, lotsa fun. I remember the cabins and little store that was up there when I was a kid in the 60's....I used to fish on Lake Fontal but now there isn't any fish.Warning: Lake Fontal Road is a dead end that does not lead to Lake Fontal. The lake is definitely not worth the trouble....We used to ride hores into lake fontal in the late 60's. There used to be a small resort there, complete with cabins, boat rentals,always a huge party opening weekend..(?) big foot sightings in the area...could of been the micro-dot....

Lake Beecher is surrounded on 3 sides by a wildlife reserve and a wooded flood plain. Several families of Beavers and Otters make their homes along the sides of the lake. Evidence of large fresh water muscles are often found on the aging docks of the 1920s & 1930s cottages that are along the lake. In the early morning & evening in the summertime, hot air balloons drift along the edge of the lake just above the treeline between the lake and the Snohomish River....

This was a beautiful hike, coming out on a lake that was pristine and gorgeous. The only problem is, the hike is really long, steep, up hill, and was exhausting for me. I would consider this an upper intermediate hike....
