Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Northern Cascade Range. Twin Lakes is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Commonwealth Campground is a glorious local campground; Margaret Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. High temperatures at Twin Lakes during the warm months       are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's while Twin Lakes overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Middle Fork Trail, and the snow is delightful at Alpental. So much cool stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just mind-boggling. From Twin Lakes you get a nice vista of Mount Margaret, and if you came to camp Crystal Springs                  Campground is a perfect place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Lake Yvonne. This lake is so wonderful. The Cooper Pass Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not head up to Snoqualmie and strap some skis to your feet. Float down the rapids of Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork in a kayak; there's glorious hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 25. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Twin Lakes has it all.
