Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Port Ludlow Golf Course; Leland Lake Campground is a great campground nearby. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Lots of folks from Bremerton-Silverdale come to Twin Lakes, and Smitty's Trailer Park is a good       local campground. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Twin Lakes. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Twin Lakes drop into the 30's. Twin Lakes gets very little rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable things to do in the Olympic Mountains.                  Lakes are fine; Wahl Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Twin Lakes. Twin Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Olympic Mountains. You just must like the Olympic Mountains. A great place for whitewater paddling close to Twin Lakes is Big Quilcene River, and the Mount Zion Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful.
