If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lake Tupso. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Tupso a wet place; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. If you come at the right time of year, Skagit River offers some good whitewater, and going for a hike on the Meadow Mountain Trail is always a magnificent adventure. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Tupso has to offer, you can camp at Dearinger Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Peaks can be spotted from Lake Tupso.
High temperatures at Lake Tupso during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with
winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lake Tupso. Lakes? Sure, Lake Louise is in close proximity; after a long day outdoors Totem Trail Motel is a perfect site to spend a night or two. Lake Tupso is located in the Northern Cascade Range.
