A delightful close by hotel is Sun Mountain Lodge, and the Driveway Butte Trail is a great hiking trail close by. One of the governing traits of the surroundings of Tuckaway Lake is Baldy Mountain, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Duncan Hill Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Methow River is a brilliant whitewater spot near Tuckaway Lake; close by you come across       the Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. And that's not all you can do here in the Northern Cascade Range. West Oval Lake is a tremendous lake next to Tuckaway Lake, and some close by water includes Baldy Creek. Summertime at Tuckaway Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight                  here at Tuckaway Lake. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn-Winthrop is a glorious place to spend a night or two. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things close to Tuckaway Lake. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Tuckaway Lake; December is when you get the most snow here; July is the month with the least moisture.
