This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. A typical amount of rain falls here at Tuckaway Lake; December is when you get the most snow here, and the driest of the months is July. Why not explore nearby Baldy Creek if you're here at Tuckaway Lake, and do explore Oval Lakes, it's a picturesque lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Methow River, and the nice folks of       Wenatchee like to hang out nearby. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Camping at Prince Creek Campground is always a magnificent experience, and you can see Baldy Mountain from Tuckaway Lake. Through the warm months here at Tuckaway Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights                  at Tuckaway Lake are in the 20's. Having a tremendous time in the Northern Cascade Range is trouble-free. You'll stumble on a wonderful lake called West Oval Lake near Tuckaway Lake; the Duncan Hill Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. If you came to camp Mystery Campground is a fine site to do that, and close by you find the Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Horseshoe Basin is a great place here at Tuckaway Lake; there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Driveway Butte Trail. So many entertaining things to do here at Tuckaway Lake, too good to be true.
