Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Trout Lake is so good! A round of golf at nearby San Juan Golf & Country Club is a great way to kill some time, and why not stop by Deadman Bay also since you're here. Trout Lake is pretty dried out regularly; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year       is July. After a long day outdoors Best Western Friday Harbor Suites is a wonderful location to spend a night or two; camping is available at Lakedale Resort. Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Trout Lake; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Trout Lake temperatures fall to the 30's. There are other sites here than Trout Lake, for example                  Woods Reservoir, and Cady Mountain is clearly visible from Trout Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
