High temperatures at Trout Lake during the long summer days are in the 60's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Trout Lake descend into the 10's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Trout Lake a wet place; the wettest month of the year is commonly January, that's       the one that snows the most, and July on the other hand is the driest. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Trout Lake. Dunn Creek flows through this neighborhood; Trout Lake is right by the County Line Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Rock Island Campground; you'll meet a lot of people from Ellensburg here. There are other sites here than Trout Lake, for example Horseshoe Lake; hiking along the Jolly                  Mountain Lookout Trail is perfect fun. This lake is so wonderful. Icicle Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Icicle Trail. You can observe Eightmile Mountain from Trout Lake; paddling on Icicle Creek is so much fun. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Northern Cascade Range. Trout Lake Campground is a nice campground nearby, and if you need a place to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a good choice. This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors exciting stuff.
