This lake is so wonderful. A fine place for whitewater paddling near Triumph Lake is Skagit River, and don't leave Triumph Lake without first going for a hike along the Pyramid Lake Trail. Be careful coming to Triumph Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. There's so much to do here at Triumph Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bacon Creek Campground is a great location for that, and get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Bacon

in the 40's with temperatures at Triumph Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Triumph Lake typically gets much precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July.
Triumph Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Why not explore nearby Triumph Creek if you're here at Triumph Lake; if you came to camp Alpine RV Park is a great place to do that. Thornton Lakes is a nearby lake that you could check out; the vista of wonderful Damnation Peak is delightful.
