    It's always fun to stop by Triumph Lake. Getting to Triumph Creek from Triumph Lake is trouble-free; Bacon Creek is a fine whitewater spot nearby. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do in the neighborhood of Triumph Lake. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Skagit River, and don't leave Triumph Lake without first going for a hike along the Pyramid Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day  
   outdoors Snowwater Condos is a magnificent place to spend a night or two; Berdeen Lake is a great lake nearby.
Triumph Lake gets lots of water; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most while July is typically the driest month. This location, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. A good site to camp here at Triumph Lake is Bacon Creek Campground, and there are other locations here
 
               than Triumph Lake, for example Thornton Lakes. Camping is available at Alpine RV Park; you can go for a hike on the Hidden Lake Trail.
Triumph Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. At Triumph Lake during the summer months highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Triumph Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. So many cool things to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough time. One of the overriding features of the surroundings of Triumph Lake is Damnation Peak.
