Toketie Lake, Northern Cascade Range, Chelan County, Washington     Custom Search User input for Toketie Lake, Northern Cascade Range, Chelan County, Washington: Verl Rogers: I liked the little lake.  I went straight up the canyon side from the last place the Snow Lakes trail comes near the creek, a little above the gully that comes down from Toketie.  There is a puzzle at the top where the gully turns south 1/4 M from the lake.  I climbed a small cliff there, could find no other way.  The lake was pretty. Total distance about 3 miles one way. Tom: This is hystericcal. <.....> The short route is 7 or so miles and a 4000ft+ of elevation gain on a ''trail'' that is a more of a climbers path that most climbers avoid. Rat Creek is a season creek that drops 6000ft in 2 miles though loose overgrown terrain. The area is incredibly beutiful but take my advice and stay on maintained trails unless you know what your doing. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is peerless! Quality Inn & Suites is a perfect place to get some rest, needless to say you could also explore Snow Lakes while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Edward Peak can be distinguished from Toketie Lake, and what would a place like Toketie Lake be without exciting       nearby characteristics like Snow Creek Wall. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more cool things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Camping at Bridge Creek Campground is always a good experience, and there's nice hiking along the County Line Trail. Good hiking is available along the Miller Peak Trail, and swing by Rat Creek it's a brilliant place to go to. Drift down the rapids of Icicle Creek in a kayak; a pleasant close by hotel is Best                  Western Icicle Inn. All through the long summer days here at Toketie Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Toketie Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Leavenworth Golf Club not far from Toketie Lake, and a lake close by is Nada Lake. While you're here at Toketie Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Ellensburg. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are truly abundant here at Toketie Lake. Go for a hike on the Snow Lakes Trail, and Toketie Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Eightmile Campground is a splendid local campground.
