After a long day outdoors Game Ridge Motel is a great place to spend a night or two, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Oak Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant close by hotel is Natchez Hotel; if you feel like a little side spree, try French Canyon. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Tieton River; Tim Ponds is not far at all from Ellensburg. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even       more entertaining stuff to do here at Tim Ponds. Tim Ponds is a great site to camp, Stagecoach RV Park is a great site, and there are some great whitewater spots on Naches River. Camping at Tim Ponds is brilliant fun, Windy Point Campground is a brilliant local campground, and there are perfect places to look at along the Keenan Meadows Trail. Tim Ponds gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally December, that's the one that                  snows the most, and July on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the summertime here at Tim Ponds, high temperatures usually reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
