Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Pete Lake, and you can run the rapids of Box Canyon Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are fine; Hibox Lake is a lake that's close to Three Queens Lake, and Kachess Campground is a good campground nearby. Three Queens Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain,       and July meanwhile is the driest month. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Good hiking is available along the Cooper Pass Trail, and a day on the slopes of Alpental is just what you need. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Three Queens Lake highs are generally in the 70's, and the nighttime is quite chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and overnight                  lows all through the winter for Three Queens Lake tend to be in the 30's.
