Summertime highs at Three Horse Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Three Horse Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Olympic Mountains. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Lyre River, and perfect hiking is available along       the Boulder Lake Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff near Three Horse Lake. If you need a site to stay Quality Inn Uptown is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Three Horse Lake; Soleduck Trail is a nice local trail, and Indian Valley Motel and RV Park is a good campground nearby. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Olympic Mountains. The summit of Mount Appleton can be seen                  from Three Horse Lake; tremendous skiing awaits you at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Getting to Bridge Creek from Three Horse Lake is uncomplicated. Lakes are magnificent; Blue Lake is a lake that's near Three Horse Lake. The Happy Lake Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best; if you came for an overnight stay Log Cabin Resort and Trailer is a perfect spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Port Angeles here at Three Horse Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort. Three Horse Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. Appleton Pass is a fine place to spend some time at; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Boulder Lake. Three Horse Lake is a wet site that gets a good deal of rainfall; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here while July is frequently the driest month.
