Three Horse Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Three Horse Lake gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is July. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Three Horse Lake highs are regularly in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for Three Horse Lake tend to

| | be in the 30's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. The wonderful people of Port Angeles like to hang out close by, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Three Horse Lake has to offer, you can camp at Log Cabin Resort and Trailer, and Elwha River is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. Pass is absolutely a nice site to stop by. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Olympic Mountains. The summit of Mount Appleton can be seen from Three Horse Lake, and a tremendous
site for whitewater paddling is Lyre River. And that's not all you can do here at Three Horse Lake. Blue Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and you can go for a hike on the Boulder Lake Trail.

already, but it continues; Three Horse Lake has it all. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Olympic Mountains. There's so much to do here at Three Horse Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Indian Valley Motel
and RV Park is a glorious site for that, and a day on the slopes of Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hidden Valley Motel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two; magnificent hiking is available along the Happy Lake Ridge Trail.
