If you are in this part of Washington make sure to pay a visit to Thorp Lake. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Thorp Lake. Camping at Thorp Lake is fine fun, Kachess Campground is a fine local campground, and a pleasant visit to French Cabin Basin is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon. Stewart Lodge is a glorious spot to get some rest, and get dripping wet paddling on Box Canyon Creek.

| | at Thorp Lake highs are frequently in the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Thorp Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Visit South Fork French Cabin Creek while you're here at Thorp Lake, and Cabin Creek RV and U-fish is a tremendous campground here. This lake is so wonderful. is a splendid choice, and float down the rapids of Cooper River in a kayak.
Thorp Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the snow is January, and July on the other hand is the driest. Have a brilliant
hiking adventure along the Escondido Trail, and why not head up to Alpental and strap some skis to your feet. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Take a hike on the Kachess Ridge Trail, and
Thorp Mountain is simple to spot from Thorp Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Cooper Pass Trail is wonderful fun, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Snoqualmie. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
