Thornton Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. Thornton Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; during November this area sees the most rain; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While staying at Thornton Lake you could always explore Rat Trap Pass. There's so much to do here at Thornton Lake that you need to camp here for a while, White Chuck Campground is a brilliant       place for that. This lake is so wonderful. The Lost Creek Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best, and Stujack Creek is near Thornton Lake and is always a bliss to explore. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do near Thornton Lake. Stephens Pass is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and you acquire a great view of White Chuck Mountain from here. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Northern Cascade Range. Thornton                  Lake is right by the Camp Creek Ridge Trail, and there's whitewater on Sauk River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Not far from Thornton Lake, you'll discover Beaver Lake which is a pretty lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Thornton Lake has to offer, you can camp at Crystal Creek Campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Thornton Lake; Meadow Mountain Trail is a brilliant local trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Whitechuck River. For the period of the summer here at Thornton Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's.
