This is a perfect region for folks who like lakes. Spider Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and Alpental is a delightful local ski area. All year is a delightful time in the Northern Cascade Range if you go for the outdoors. After a long day outdoors Summit Lodge at Snoqualmie Pass is a splendid site to spend a night or two, and on a beautiful day you acquire a good vista of Mount Defiance       from Thompson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Pratt Lake Trail; Salish Lodge And Spa is a splendid location to get some rest. High temperatures at Thompson Lake through the days of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's while Thompson Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Get your heart beating                  on the great whitewater of Pratt River. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do near Thompson Lake. There's great hiking along the Annette Lake Trail, and as expected Alice Creek flows through this vicinity. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Northern Cascade Range. The slopes of Snoqualmie are so inviting nobody can resist, and you can run the rapids of Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork. Thompson Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Don't leave Thompson Lake without first going for a hike along the Mount Defiance Trail. There's so much to do here at Thompson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Nor'west Motel and RV Park is a nice spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Thompson Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Commonwealth Campground is a perfect local campground. Lakes are magnificent; Gifford Lakes is a lake that's in the vicinity of Thompson Lake.
