Thompson Lake is mostly a relatively arid spot; the month with most of the snow is December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A good site to pop by next to Thompson Lake is Whitney Canyon; camping at Lakeview Terrace Mobile Park is always a nice experience. This lake is so wonderful. Martin Falls is an inspiring location to take a look at while here, and if you came to camp Coulee Playland Resort       is a good place to do that. Steamboat Rock is wonderful and can be distinguished from Thompson Lake, and getting to Devils Creek from Thompson Lake is uncomplicated. Sky Deck Motel is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and Devils Punch Bowl is a great lake close by. So much amusing stuff right next door to Thompson Lake, clearly fantastic. Dry warm beds await you at Trail West Motel. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Thompson Lake highs                  are frequently in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's.
