This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Lake Thomas, you could pop by Deer Creek; a lake close by is Little Pend Oreille Lakes. Man, is there lots of exciting things to do next to Lake Thomas. Lake Thomas is not the only place close by, Gillette Lake is a close by lake, and Beaver Lodge Resort is a fine local campground. There's some interesting stuff to catch a sight of at       Sherry Lake Dam right next door to Lake Thomas; if you came for an overnight stay Lake Thomas Campground is a delightful place to camp. There are glorious spots to look at along the Terry Trail, and the skiing at 49 Degrees North is delightful. There's whitewater on Sullivan River for all you thrill seekers, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Colville is a brilliant choice. At Lake Thomas you don’t see much rainfall; through the month of December                  you get the most snow around here while September is typically the driest month. Summertime highs at Lake Thomas frequently tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
