     The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Texas Pond. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Texas Pond are in the 30's. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a tremendous time. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Finney Peak Trail, and a lake nearby is Hilt Lake.
This lake is one of the great places
 
   here in the Northern Cascade Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sauk River, and Caskey Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. Yeah, come here to Texas Pond for a nice time. If you need a site to stay Best Western Sky Valley Inn is a splendid choice, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a glimpse of at Texas Pond Dam close to Texas Pond.
Camping at Clark's Skagit River Resort is always a great experience, and there are some brilliant
 
               whitewater spots on Clear Creek. Texas Pond typically gets lots of rain; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back time and again. Texas Pond is right by the Gee Point Trail, and a fine place to camp here at Texas Pond is Wilderness Village.
