Not far from Temporary Sewage Lagoon you get some good water scenery at Temporary Sewage Lagoon Dam, and folks from Bremerton-Silverdale love to come here. Temporary Sewage Lagoon gets a good deal of water; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. CRISTA Camps & Conferences is a wonderful local       campground; in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Quilcene River. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Temporary Sewage Lagoon with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows at Temporary Sewage Lagoon during the winter ordinarily drop into the 30's. Golf can be played at Rolling Hills Golf Course, and after a long day outdoors Oxford Suites                  Silverdale is a great site to spend a night or two.
