Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Whatcom Creek, and a nice nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Bellingham, Wa. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's some flowing water close by, Squalicum Creek is a stream you can stop by while you're here; lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Heron Pond. The annual rainfall here at Taylor Pond is about average; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Hampton Inn Bellingham Airport
is a good choice, and Olsen Riverside Golf Course is a perfect golf course nearby. High temperatures at Taylor Pond during the summer months are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Taylor Pond dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights.
