It is very dry here at Taylor Lake frequently; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and September on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Taylor Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Pierre Lake Campground is a great local campground; Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is a very       brilliant location to stop at. Pierre Creek flows through this vicinity, and if you've had enough of Taylor Lake, First Thought Lake is nearby. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great globe it would be. You could also visit Gilbert Lake since you're here at Taylor Lake; it's nearby, and the summit of First Thought Mountain can be observed from Taylor Lake. A magnificent location for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Taylor                  Lake is Sherman Creek, and since you're here why not visit Box Canyon. Comfort Inn Colville is a splendid spot to get some rest. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Taylor Lake. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's.
