At Tavares Lake you don’t see much rain; through December this area sees the most snow, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Tavares Lake is good fun, River Rue is a good local campground, obviously you could also have a look at Browns Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Crescent Oaks RV Park is a glorious campground here; Odessa Inn       is a pleasant spot to get some rest. For the duration of the summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Tavares Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are generally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Tavares Lake.
