So many cool things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too great to be true. There is a nice hiking trail in the neighborhood of Tatoosh Lakes called the Tatoosh Trail; Tatoosh Lakes is a great spot to visit for more than one day, River Bar Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Near Tatoosh Lakes you locate the Skyline Trail which is a great hiking trail. For the period       of the summertime at Tatoosh Lakes temperatures are typically in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's; overnight lows at Tatoosh Lakes all through the winter ordinarily descend into the 20's. Tatoosh Lakes is a wet location that gets a large amount of rain; most of the snow falls during January while July is the month with the least amount                  of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Crystal Mountain is a good local ski area; Packwood RV Park and Campground is a fine campground nearby. Sure, Snow Lake is next to Tatoosh Lakes, and going for a hike on the Backbone Ridge Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Whitewater paddling is fine on Cowlitz River; a spree to Tatoosh Lakes wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Bum Springs.
