Tarboo Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. Tarboo Lake is a location that is pretty dry regularly; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. And that's not all the things to do here in the Olympic Mountains. There's so much to do here at Tarboo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Leland Lake Campground is a magnificent spot for that, and after a       long day outdoors Valley View Motel is a good site to spend a night or two. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Tarboo Lake reach the 60's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Tarboo Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. If you came to camp Discovery Bay Camp-peniel's is a wonderful location to do that, and why not take a refreshing hike                  along the Mount Zion Trail. Big Quilcene River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby; dry warm beds await you at Mount Walker Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Tarboo Lake is right by the Bear Mountain Trail, and if you get bored of Tarboo Lake you could also go to close by Browns Lake. Tarboo Lake in fact is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise.
