It's always fun to stop by Taneum Lake. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Don't leave Taneum Lake without first going for a hike along the Kaner Flat Trail, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on American River. Taneum Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. At Taneum Lake you can catch a sight of Mole Mountain,

| | and if you come at the right time of year, Cle Elum River offers some good whitewater. There's so much to do here at Taneum Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Halfway Flat Campground II is a splendid spot for that, and a great close by hotel is Stewart Lodge. Meadow is a fine way to spend an afternoon.
Taneum Lake is a place with many visitors from Ellensburg, and if you need a place to stay Suncadia Resort is a tremendous choice. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff
to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Good hiking is available along the North Fork Taneum Trail; you can go for a hike on the Frost Mountain Lookout Trail. Taneum Lake is a wet location that gets lots of precipitation; during January
this area sees the most snow; July is the month with the least moisture.
Summertime at Taneum Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Taneum Lake.
