Stay the night at Travel Inn Resort; get yourself into a kayak and hit Satsop River - West Fork. Sylvia Lake is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains. If you come at the right time of year,       Satsop River - East Fork offers some glorious whitewater, and Microtel Inn and Suites-Elma is a splendid place to get some rest. Lots of folks from Aberdeen come to Sylvia Lake, and swing by Cutoff Slough it's a glorious site to visit. Sylvia Lake commonly gets a lot of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little trip to Sylvia Lake Dam while                  you're here at Sylvia Lake; Artic RV Park and Campground is a perfect campground nearby. High temperatures at Sylvia Lake all through the summertime months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's.
