If you are in Kittitas county it's always a good idea to stop by Swan Lake. If you need a place to stay Cascadia Inn is a magnificent choice, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Cooper Pass Trail. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Swan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crystal Springs Campground is a delightful place for that, and a day

| | on the slopes of Snoqualmie is just what you need. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. A great deal of rainfall falls at Swan Lake; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July. For the period of the months of summer here at Swan Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. with lows in the 30's to Swan Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes. Baker Lake is a lake in close proximity. You definitely must go for the Northern Cascade Range. The skiing
at Alpental is nice, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Box Canyon Creek. After a long day outdoors Best Western Inn is a good site to spend a night or two, and Swan Lake is nice enough to
spend more than a day at, Kachess Campground is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby, and hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section
25 is good fun. Just can't get enough of Swan Lake. Going for a hike along the Middle Fork Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; the top of Mount Margaret is easily made out from Swan Lake.
