It's always fun to stop by Surprise Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Echo Valley is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Do check out Middle Oval Lake in the vicinity of Surprise Lake, it's a gorgeous lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Entiat River. Have a great hiking adventure along the Hunters Trail, and you'll discover a picturesque lake called Star Lake. High temperatures

| | at Surprise Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Surprise Lake are in the 20's. Hiking along the Duncan Hill Trail is glorious fun, and from Surprise Lake you obtain a nice sight of Baldy Mountain. here at Surprise Lake, and Surprise Lake is right by the Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail. Surprise Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest of the
months is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. There's some flowing water close by, Middle Fork Prince
Creek is a stream you can check out while you're here, and a fine place to check out is Fish Creek Pass. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a good time. War Creek Campground is a good local campground, and there are some good whitewater spots on Methow River.
