If you come at the right time of year, Deschutes River offers some good whitewater; you're almost certainly keen on lakes, Pattison Lake is one of those nearby. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Sunwood Lake rules! After a long day outdoors Ranchotel Motel is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. There are some great whitewater spots on Nisqually River, and if you came to camp Martin way Mobile Home Park       is a good site to do that. High temperatures at Sunwood Lake during the long summer days are in the 70's, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, usually in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Sunwood Lake tend to be in the 30's. There are plenty of people from Olympia here at Sunwood Lake, and camping at Offut Lake Resort is always a delightful experience. All the water falling                  down from the sky makes Sunwood Lake a wet location; during December this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful.
