    Do stop by Sunup Lake while you're in this part of Washington. A quick spree to Camp Creek close to Sunup Lake is a magnificent idea; if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sauk River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Owl Creek Campground. The high level of precipitation makes Sunup Lake a rather wet site; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains  
   the most, and July on the other hand is the driest.
Any time is a nice time at Sunup Lake if you love the outdoors. There's great hiking along the Meadow Mountain Trail, and Sloan Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. Lakes are great; Meadow Lake is a lake that's near Sunup Lake, and Sunup Lake is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Sloan Creek Campground is a nice spot to camp nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range.
 
               Salish Lodge And Spa is a perfect place to get some rest, and don't leave Sunup Lake without first going for a hike along the Lost Creek Ridge Trail.
All through the warmest time of the year at Sunup Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Sunup Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of scenic Zi iob Peak near Sunup Lake is wonderful, and the Camp Creek Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. All the outdoors exciting things in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. You're probably into lakes, Round Lake is one of those nearby, and why not head up to Stephens Pass and strap some skis to your feet.

Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out...
