A journey to Mount Rainier National Park is worthwhile. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area close to Sunset Lake has to offer. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Buckley; get yourself into a kayak and hit Carbon River. During the warm days of summer, highs typically are       in the 70's at Sunset Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's while Sunset Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. On a magnificent day at Sunset Lake you can take a hike along the Ipsut Creek Trail; why not visit close by Gale Creek since you're here at Sunset Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Sunset Lake you can take a hike along the Summit Lake Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Uncle John's Rv Park is a magnificent spot to camp. Sunset Lake gets a lot of water; during November this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range.
