The beauty of Summit Lake is reason enough to stop by. Camping at Mount Molly Campground is always a perfect experience, and a short visit to Kennedy Falls is always worthwhile. Just can't get enough of Summit Lake. Cedar Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot next to Summit Lake, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Skokomish River - South Fork. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful.

All year is a good time in the Olympic Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Summer at Summit Lake comes with high temperatures
in the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Summit Lake. Summit Lake gets much water; December is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is July.
