    Go to Summit Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Mount Rainier National Park is a national park worth taking a look at, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Summit Lake; Carbon Trail is a wonderful local trail. All the outdoors cool things in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Go for a hike on the Summit Lake Trail, and naturally McGilvery Creek flows through this region. Camping  
   at Cougar Rock Campground is always a fine experience.
Summit Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. You clearly should love Summit Lake. On a pretty day you acquire a sight of Bearhead Mountain from Summit Lake, and a striking lake like Coplay Lake is a pleasant place to go to. A large amount of rain falls at Summit Lake; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most while July is usually the driest month.
 
               Celery Meadow is right here at Summit Lake, and you'll stumble on a pretty lake called Coundly Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a pleasant time. Glide down the rapids of Clearwater River - White River Tributary in a kayak, and dry warm beds await you at Kings Valu Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Summit Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Ipsut Creek Campground is a good local campground, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Buckley is a pleasant choice.
If you come at the right time of year, White River offers some brilliant whitewater, and great hiking is available along the Clearwater Trail. Summertime highs at Summit Lake typically tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Summit Lake.

July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving....
