Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is a magnificent local destination here at Summer Lake, and Overlook Golf Course is a golf course close by. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is peerless!. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs frequently are in the 70's       at Summer Lake, and the night is quite cooler of course, generally in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Summer Lake through the winter usually drop into the 30's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Summer Lake a wet place; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. If you get bored of Summer Lake, you                  could also stop at nearby Seabury Pond, and after a long day outdoors Arlington Motor Inn is a perfect site to spend a night or two.
