Going for a hike along the Daisy Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and hey, Ledgerwood Creek is a pleasant local stream. Around Sugar Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; during the month of December you get the most snow around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Peppermint Meadows is a nice location,       and if you fancy a little side visit, try Butterfly Canyon. Sugar Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Log Cabin Resort is a perfect local campground; you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the White Mountain Trail. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Sugar Lake. There's so much to do here at Sugar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Elbow Lake Campground is a delightful spot for that,                  and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sherman Creek. This lake is so wonderful. You'll stumble on a stunning lake called Elbow Lake near Sugar Lake, and Comfort Inn Colville is a pleasant place to get some rest. Do visit La Fleur Lake close to Sugar Lake, it's a wonderful lake; don't miss out on a spree to Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area while you're here. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Sugar Lake, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Sugar Lake plunge into the 10's.
