During your stay at Lake Sturtevant do have a look at nearby Rosemont Beach. Lakes? Sure, Larsen Lake is in close proximity. Through the summer highs here at Lake Sturtevant reach the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. Through       the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Sturtevant dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. A pleasant site to camp here at Lake Sturtevant is Trailer Inn's RV Park, and you can spend the day on the beach at Brighton Beach. An average amount of rainfall falls at Lake Sturtevant; most of the rain falls through December, and July is the month with the least moisture. Pickle Point is around here and always magnificent                  to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Duwamish River, and camping is available at Vasa Park Resort and Ballroom. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Sturtevant. Looking for some flowing water? Try Goff Creek; if you come at the right time of year, Cedar River offers some fine whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. On a brilliant day you can explore Mercer Slough, a swamp near Lake Sturtevant, and playing golf is lots of fun at Wayne Public Golf Course.
