After a long day outdoors Best Western Icicle Inn is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and you can go for a hike on the Icicle Trail. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. The peak of Argonaut Peak can be made out from Lake Stuart, and great hiking is available along the Miller Peak Trail.       All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Stuart a wet spot; January is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Eightmile Lake Campground is a magnificent campground nearby; there's some exciting stuff to catch a glimpse of at Eightmile Lake Outlet Dam close to Lake Stuart. Any time is a great time at Lake Stuart if you adore the outdoors. Eightmile Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by; Lake Stuart                  is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, Trout Lake Campground is a brilliant location to camp nearby. Here at Lake Stuart there are plenty of people from Ellensburg; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Teanaway River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the County Line Trail is always a glorious adventure, and Icicle Creek is a splendid whitewater spot nearby. Throughout the days of summer at Lake Stuart temperatures are regularly in the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while Lake Stuart overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. That right there is a load of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all.
