At Strangers Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Strangers Lake. If you need a site to stay Palace Hotel is a good choice; fine hiking is available along the Deadfall Trail. These mountains rock, just look at       all the amusing things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Strangers Lake; Bear Mountain Trail is a good local trail; the wonderful folks of Oak Harbor like to hang out nearby. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Olympic Mountains. Why not pop by McCurdy Point also since you're here, and camping is available at Discovery Bay Camp-peniel's. A magnificent site to camp here at Strangers Lake                  is Sea Breeze Grocery, and in the vicinity of Strangers Lake you come across a golf course called Port Townsend Golf Club. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. Yeah, come here to Strangers Lake for a pleasant time. There's great hiking along the Mount Zion Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Aladdin Inn Port Townsend. This lake is so wonderful. Buckmans Lake is a magnificent lake in the neighborhood of Strangers Lake, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Quilcene River. At Strangers Lake you don’t see much rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July.
