A visit to Stink Lake is always a good idea. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Stink Lake; Carbon Trail is a good local trail, and if you have time, Mount Rainier National Park is a national park worth a visit. Stink Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; all through November this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. So much cool stuff to do in the Northern Cascade

| | Range, not enough time. Good hiking is available along the Summit Lake Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. A fine nearby hotel is Kings Valu Inn, and you can stay the night at Ipsut Creek Campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clearwater River - White River Tributary, and Econo Lodge Buckley is a great place to get some rest. Stink Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range.

entertaining things. Go for a hike on the Clearwater Trail. There's so much to do here at Stink Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Green River Gorge Resort is a pleasant site for that. The warmest time of the year brings
highs in the 70's to Stink Lake; the night is a bit cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Stink Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights.
If you come at the right time of year, White River offers some good whitewater, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Clay Creek.
