This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Marysville is a nice choice, and playing golf is lots of fun at Snohomish Public Golf Club. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MARYSVILLE is a perfect place to get some rest, and Snohomish RV and Mobile Home Park is a great local campground.       Be careful coming to Lake Stevens, you might not ever want to go back home again. If you come at the right time of year, Canyon Creek South Fork Stillaguamish Tributary offers some delightful whitewater, and Stitch Lake is a great lake nearby. This is a popular place for folks from Mount Vernon-Anacortes; glide down the rapids of Stillaguamish River - South Fork in a kayak. All through the long summer days, highs commonly are in the 70's at Lake Stevens, and                  the overnight is a little chillier of course, generally in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's while Lake Stevens night low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's.
