This lake is so wonderful. At Steamboat Lake through the warm months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Steamboat Lake. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Steamboat Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Steamboat Lake; East Crater Trail is a delightful local trail, and       if you've had enough of Steamboat Lake, Little Fish Lake is nearby. There's brilliant hiking along the Table Mountain Trail; at Steamboat Lake you can see Steamboat Mountain. Steamboat Lake commonly gets much rainfall; December is when you get the most snow here while July is regularly the driest month. Steamboat Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range.
