     A lake nearby is Haynes Lake; you can stay the night at Sun Lakes Park Resort. At Stallard Lake you don’t see much precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Sun Lakes Dry Falls State Park is a perfect campground nearby, as expected you could also check out Bennett Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Summer at Stallard Lake comes with high temperatures  
   in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and night lows at Stallard Lake through the wintertime commonly fall into the 10's.
Not far from Stallard Lake you obtain some fine water scenery at Jenkins-Webley Dam, and if you need a place to stay Ephrata Travelodge is a brilliant choice.

Wow what a great w/e. Haven't been to Jack's Resort on Jameson Lake in years, but will make it at least twice a year from here on. The new owner and apparently a crew of regulares have fixed the place up to a quality resort. Super friendly folks, good service and great food. Oh, and the fishin wasn't bad either. Would have been better but Fish And Wildlife decided to plant a bazzzzzillon fry and the big guys I was after were on the bottom burping.
