    If you are in Skagit county it's always a good idea to stop by Squires Lake. There are plenty of folks from Bellingham here at Squires Lake, and you don’t have to go far from Squires Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Glenhaven Lakes Dam. Whatcom Creek is a good whitewater spot in close proximity to Squires Lake, and since you're here and you like golf, you can stop by Lake Padden Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Mt.Baker is a splendid  
   site to do that, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Burlington is a glorious location to spend a night or two.
From a rain point of view Squires Lake is a reasonably typical place; November is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can
 
               always go whitewater paddling on Skookum Creek, and a quick journey to Barnes Creek is certainly a good idea. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Squires Lake get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Squires Lake are in the 30's.
Squires Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Wildwood Resort is a splendid local campground, and unsurprisingly, all our national parks are nice places to take a look at and Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is no exception.
You completely have to fancy the Northern Cascade Range. Lakes are such calm spots, why not go to Reed Lake in the neighborhood of Squires Lake; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Burlington, Wa. If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Squires Lake. You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Cain Lake near Squires Lake, and Lake Samish Terrace Park is a nice campground nearby.
