This lake is so wonderful. The snow is good at Mt.Baker; a visit to Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is recommended. If you need a place to stay Bellingham Val U Inn is a fine choice; paddling on Whatcom Creek is so much fun. All through the warmest time of the year, highs commonly are in the 70's at Squalicum Lake while night lows are commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to

Lake. A round of golf at nearby Shuksan Golf Club is a nice way to kill some time; get wet paddling on Skookum Creek. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Lakeway Inn
