What a nice lake Springer Lake is. Looking for some flowing water? Try Spurgeon Creek, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deschutes River. And that's not all there is to do here in the Olympic Mountains. At Springer Lake you always meet someone from Olympia; do visit Sheehan Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Olympia Campgrounds is a perfect local campground. So many cool things in the Olympic Mountains, just mind-boggling. There's so much to do here at Springer Lake that you need
to camp here for a while, Offut Lake Resort is a great location for that, and you'll hit upon a charming lake called Pitman Lake. Springer Lake typically gets a great deal of precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with
most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains.
