Stay the night at Issaquah Highlands Camping Club, and Cedar River is a good whitewater spot nearby. Spring Lake is not far at all from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, and Youngs Lake Old Inlet Dam is picturesque. Summertime at Spring Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Spring Lake tend       to be in the 30's. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green River, and there's some flowing water nearby, Honey Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here.
