     The scenery at William Symington Dam in close proximity to Sprague Pond is delightful, and after a long day outdoors Oxford Inn Silverdale is a good place to spend a night or two. Sprague Pond generally gets much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is July. So many fun things to do here at Sprague Pond, too wonderful to be true. If you want to hit the beach, Miami Beach is in close  
   proximity, and if you came to camp Norseland Mobile Estates is a brilliant site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Big Quilcene River right next door to Sprague Pond, and Sprague Pond is a place with many visitors from Bremerton-Silverdale.
Oxford Suites Silverdale is a fine place to get some rest, and hey, Seabeck Creek is a good local stream. Yeah, come here to Sprague Pond for a fine time. Hiking along the Mount Zion Trail
 
               is nice fun. During the days of summer highs here at Sprague Pond reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Sprague Pond temperatures drop to the 30's.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Jupiter Trail, and close by you hit upon Seabeck Bay. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Lake William Symington next to Sprague Pond, it's a pretty lake, and camping at Dosewallips State Park is always a great experience. Tin Mine Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Dosewallips River.
On a pleasant day it's a great idea to spend the day at Scenic Beach; do take a hike on the Deadfall Trail.

Cattail Lake in within the Bangor Naval Submarine Base and has not been accessible (even to most navy personnel) since 911.  I have not been to Cattail Lake in a long time.  It is a small natural lake with no dam.   I don't think there is public camping at the Erland Point Mobile Home Park or CRISTA Camps & Conference grounds.  CRISTA Camps & Conference center is at the south end of Island Lake in Silverdale....

I have been swimming at this lake since i was a baby girl!!!...This is mainly a private lake for people who have houses on it. There is a boat launch which is very small and to the point. :) There is also a park for employees of a certain company which I forget the name of now. This lake is very clean and refreshing. It is great for boats and inter tubing and swimming all the same :)  Love this Lake!!...THERE IS A PUBLIC AREA AT THIS PARK,BOATING SWIM AND PICNIC AREA...
