Spider Lake is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains. So many fun things to do here at Spider Lake, too perfect to be true. Dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn and Suites-Elma, and some of the water close by flows, like Walter Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Spider Lake is not the only spot close by, Dry Bed Lakes is a close by lake, and there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Skyline Trail.       Be careful coming to the Olympic Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. A lake nearby is Pine Lake. There's so much to do here at Spider Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wynoochee Falls Campground is a great spot for that. Spider Lake typically gets a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest month is July. Paddling on Satsop River - Middle Fork is so much fun, and Spider Lake is great enough                  to spend more than a day at, Brown Creek Campground is a great local campground. That right there is heaps of fun things already but it goes on, the Olympic Mountains has it all. All through the summertime at Spider Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Spider Lake.
