Spider Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Baker Creek. There's so much to do here at Spider Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wynoochee Falls Campground is a great site for that. There's whitewater on Satsop River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline people, and you can go for a hike on the Skyline Trail. A quick tour to Walter Creek right next door to Spider Lake is a

For the duration of the long summer days here at Spider Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Spider Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is December while July is ordinarily the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to
enjoy the Olympic Mountains. Lakes are such calm spots, why not go to Pine Lake near Spider Lake, and if you came to camp Brown Creek Campground is a magnificent spot to do that.
