You're in all probability interested in lakes, Pine Lake is one of those nearby, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Baker Creek. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the Olympic Mountains has to offer. Spider Lake is a rather wet place commonly with a good deal of precipitation; all through December this area sees the most rain; the driest       month of the year is July. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Olympic Mountains is unbeatable! Spider Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Wynoochee Falls Campground is a good local campground, and Microtel Inn and Suites-Elma is a wonderful site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Skyline Trail, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Shelton is a good spot to spend a night or two.                  A great location to camp here at Spider Lake is Brown Creek Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Satsop River - Middle Fork offers some glorious whitewater. Spider Lake is one of the lakes here in the Olympic Mountains. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Spider Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Spider Lake.
