Palouse River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by; at Spider Lake you can catch a glimpse of Coyote Butte. Kennedy Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to; if you came for an overnight stay Four Seasons Campground is a good spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Spider Lake, you could also pop by gorgeous Negro Lake, and why not camp at Lyons Ferry Marina if you're here at Spider Lake. Spider Lake is pretty dry regularly;
